Bob is being checked into a nursing home.
Sometimes he thinks he's God.
And sometimes he's right.

Bob has become too much of a handful for his daughter Karen, so they're trying a trial period at Dr. Wally's nursing home—with miraculous results.

"Frankly, we were surprised how strongly audiences responded to the play. Of course, they laughed a lot and had a great time (we received letters thanking us). But they also seemed to identify strongly with the ideas in the play—they appreciated seeing older people as smart, strong, and funny. The play also deals very powerfully with death and dying—there were a great many people in the audience crying at the end, very moved. Almighty Bob was a big hit for us!"
